![]() | Fujifilm XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 R LM WR Pros: Overall quality, internal zoom, weight, focal range, compactness, wr Cons: Soft edges at some apertures and focal lengths but all in all acceptable with some workaround (crop, etc.) Opinion: Bought on dayone free from a kit at € 499 for jumping from x-t30 II to x-t5 and to be sure to have a lens that could decently solve the 40mpx without spending a fortune. Price/Optimal performance although it is not a "PRO" lens I would not worry about using it in professional contexts, especially if used at intermediate apertures where it does not look bad even against double-cost lenses. It can satisfy even pixelppers if we neglect some edge behaviors at certain apertures but it is an acceptable compromise for the figure and the lens of use. I use it mainly for street together with the Fuji XF 27mm 2.8 II WR and I am satisfied with it. sent on November 17, 2024 |
