I like the contrast between the dark background and illuminated the flowers, beautiful colors give a 'mottled appearance to the petals, beautiful composition, congratulations, hello Andrea ;-)

I love how you have taken care of the details surrounding these two beautiful Gazania! The intense colors and brightness, sharpness but also mean that you can touch! Wow!

thanks ! :-P:-P
PP I have taken the decision to close a lot of the shadows to emphasize the emergence of the "two suns" and, with the filter step, I brought out some special elements which, IMHO, were compositionally interesting: I'm glad that this is was to your liking! :-) .... The 50cc then gives a really nice sharpness ;-)
Best wishes to all and good day!
Michela

Excellent compo but above all the work in PP with the decision to close the shades to bring out the flowers, really good:-P :-)

Michael, I thought I commented on it but now I realize I have only thought of. The photography is beautiful, with the strong contrast of light that has allowed you to expose the highlights of the petals sending in underexposure all the rest; so the flowers have come out very well from the chaos.
One small thing: the little flower in the lower left seems totally alien to the world of Gazans and adds nothing to the beauty of the flowers. What do you think?
Hello dear Michela.

Mat, Cristina and Giuseppe thank you very much for the praise directed at this picture!!

Thanks Joseph for this question gives me the opportunity to highlight one aspect of this shot ;-)
The elements that I left out of the shadows have a meaning altogether if that is interpreted, if known, from the last third to the right and then continue the vision in a curve that leads to the opposite corner, you can see all the life stages of Gazania The bud, the blossom, the flower wilted and, finally, even the "little flower skeletal":-D you mention you. ;-)
So, based on my compositional intention, it would remove not.
<br /> Thanks again to you and to all:-P
A greeting!
Michela
