per 4:3 (o 1:1) intendo il rapporto d'aspetto, ovvero il rapporto tra lato lungo e lato corto. Il classico formato Leica è 3:2, vedasi pellicola 35mm e APSC, ma anche Full Frame digitale e molte altre. In 4:3 sono i sensori delle compatte, dei telefoni, delle micro 4:3 e le medio formato.
