Venendo poi al contenuto del tuo commento, posso solo dire che hai perfettamente ragione nel considerare questo scatto estremamente duro e con una resa espressiva ridotta. Ma come avrai sicuramente capito, non è una questione di esposizione, piuttosto di una interpretazione da parte mia di questo soggetto.
Come ho già avuto modo di dire rispondendo ad altri commenti, nelle immagini di questa galleria, dedicata alle etnie della valle dell'Omo, ho voluto di proporre foto che mettessero in evidenza il carattere duro e fiero di queste popolazioni, cercando di esaltare al massimo la vivacità dei colori, da un lato, e di estremizzarne i contrasti, dall'altro.
Certo, questa era la mia idea di base; il fatto poi che ci sia riuscito, e riuscito bene, è tutto un altro paio di maniche..
In questo particolare scatto, ad esempio, ho ritenuto che la caratteristica peculiare di questa donna fosse proprio la maschera bianca che lei stessa si era dipinta con tanta cura sul viso, assieme forse al chiodo infilato nel labbro; questo era il suo modo di essere e questo ciò che lei stessa voleva mostrarmi di sé. Partendo da questo presupposto, ho pensato quindi di realizzare un'immagine che evidenziasse essenzialmente questo suo modo di esprimersi, riducendo quindi la sua espressività alla sola maschera.
Ecco, questa è la motivazione del mio operato, Falena, ma con questo non voglio certo dire che sia corretta, o l'unica possibile, anzi...
