I would say that it is perfect. ;-)
I for these photos I set the camera on AV mode, fixed at f 8.0; ISO 200; continuous shooting. The shutter speed was set by the machine shot to shot (forded the exif of my were all between 1/800 and 1/1600)
In hindsight I could always run it on AV mode, but at f 7.1; ISO 100. Because of this uniform background in PP I saw a bit of noise on which I had to work. :-(

I wish you a good catch, and I hope to soon see your shots. :-P

Very good. Nice picture.
I also I have in my gallery, but I had only a 105 mm ff, and although with some slight crop exceeding the "close" like yours. The next year we try again, but this time I await them with a 300mm. :-D :-D
hello mauro

Thanks Mauro friendly ... we say more than good luck.

Well with a 300 mm and FF I think will come out pretty pictures, I might just do a board so as to remain below 1/500 for the shutter speed and uses central points so as to favor af machine

account to soon see your results

a dear greeting

hello hello Unless :-P

PS I took the liberty of adding your name to my list of friends, so you can see some of your snap in the coming days
