Nei miei ricordi sbiaditi e più dai racconti di mio padre, rammento di un signore che arrivava dalla campagna in calesse ,in paese aveva un pied-a-terre. Due persone ed un soldato, lo prendevano in braccio adagiandolo su una carrozzella e trasportandolo in chiesa per ascoltare la Santa Messa. Seppi che si chiamava Pasquale Frezza e dopo Carlo Del Crouax era il secondo più grande invalido D'Italia, aveva perso le gambe ed un braccio, decorato di Medaglia d'Oro al Valor Militare nella prima guerra mondiale. Era propietario terriero aveva alcune case e questa che si vede in foto (ora abbandonata) con 20 stanze e due bagni. Ricordo la sua bella figlia, alta, con bellissimi capelli ricci. Quando lei si sposò, furono giorni di grande festa. Per l'occasione acquistò due quintali di confetti (una follia) per l'epoca! Questo il mio ricordo.
