Very nice detail, I would have preferred a slightly larger components, personal taste, but I read in the description that it was really a conscious choice.
In the background I see artifacts, possibly due to web compression. Personally I would use a little less sharpen in PP, you notice it too much on the subject. ;-)

Would check the sharpen .. you choose, also seeing the roost, the composition fairer .. ;-)

In my opinion, I would have seen better horizontal, inclined a hair. For the rest, I like very much.

nonostanmte is battered, is an exemplary bellissismo beautifully colored.
I would see it too, more "angled" composition.
my monitor is very unreliable but I find there is a mask too, I could be wrong.

Go to reduce sharpen but the feeling that you've described to me has arrived.
Often the keys to read the meter must come before the technique which remains important in macro photography.

The cold is perceived well!

A beautiful picture. I agree to the sharpen, which also tends to raise the highlights especially the white droplets. Hello ;-)

Everything makes you feel like you describe: the butterfly with all the drops and background cold colors, congratulations.
A fine performance.
