Dear Michela,
excellent photo for colors, sharpness and composition! :-P
Very nice and especially the focus! ;-)
Unfortunately it is not a time when I can devote so much time to the forum, but when I possibly can, I will, with pleasure, to enjoy the "work" of friends ... and who knows who may not be able to post something of mine as well! ;-)
Best wishes,

Gabriele'm really embarrassed :-| ... I'm sorry if I answer only now thanking you for the beautiful comment that you have devoted to this shot! :-)

Dear Faith, you made me smile with your description of the positioning tripod:-D ... and just because it does not only happen to you, believe me!! Especially when I sneak in to the flower beds and bushes, maybe even with the presence of rocks and various impediments .... this place uncomfortable albeit very useful tool becomes a business! ;-)
I read "free hand"
But what can I do in this site of monsters of skill? Please do not respond to this question
But you say and not to get you out of spite! :-D When I am photographing freehand flowers and other macro subjects (however that happens rarely and in special conditions) I try to posizionarmi "the Manfrotto" namely: good balance with a stable posture on the ground, elbows and along the body, while shooting, I hold my breath.
It seems ridiculous this whole procedure but it helps moltisssimo to avoid, or at least to reduce the risk of blur. Then clear that the shutter speed should not be too long.
Try and tell me! ;-) Thanks and a hug to you too!

Greetings to you both! :-P
Michela
