The story of the photo that is exciting for me to rise "virtual" walked me even if I came too out of breath:-D:-D:-D ...
The light that emanates from the moon batting the landscape making it all very fascinating, fantastic setting.
The starry sky seems very good, and for the union of the shots, I leave to others more expert opinion, I'm curious because I have an idea but do not express it 1) because I could be wrong 2) I do not want to influence, then look others' opinions .

Hello Gianmarco.

Also I leave the technical analyzes to others because for me there is nothing wrong...

I like that the morning light is rising behind the mountains but that there are still stars in the sky...
Really wonderful atmosphere! CoolCool

Jypka Cucjanji Francesco and Michele Thousand thanks

Michele profiles are rounded in part due to the shape of those peaks, partly due to the huge pile of snow that makes everything more uniform and partly because F4 optics is a bit 'soft on the sides. If you look at the picture below you see that it is made with a zooming and APSC so much closer as a detail in the upper right corner is rounded enough. with the 17mm FF and the detail you lose a little '.

Gianmarco Thanks, your explanation was great, as well as simple:-P:-P

Many elements have acted in concert to make the shot a little soft in some areas, certain that the machines and good optics have their limitations, I never paid enough attention to this aspect and rarely I noticed on other occasions, this successful day for me ;-) ;-)

See you soon, Michele

You made me make an effort to keep up with the climb but it was worth it. You own soul a great passion and a deep love for the mountains which then turn into photos. Very nice shooting with the contrast between the soft snow and the harshness of the mountain. Once again, congratulations.

Already the story is a pleasure for me ... it seems to have done the climb too.
The photo is very good, partly due to the use of an ISO acceptable and then to the union of the two shots (well done!) Which has improved the performance of the optics.
I like it, it is very nice the moment of transition from night to day.
Bravo :-)

Gianmarco Hello, your stories help me to enjoy more of your wonderful images. As I read them I seem to go through the steps described above, until you get to the goal where I sit and taste the landscape.
Congratulations on shooting and climbing.

Nice atmosphere and good cutting, casting me appears to be successful at the edges of the 17-40 f4 has major limitations.
Congratulations, hello.
