Roberto this incident happened on the penultimate day, if you remember well, Carl and I've told him we had even with some enthusiasm: what I did not know, not having reviewed the shots, were the practical results. Photos saved, given the difficult environmental conditions, there are, to be optimistic, on the fingers of ONE hand ....
However, after the first 5 days of nothing is just fine as well! :-P:-P

Well I do not think you have gone wrong, not sure how to photograph lions in the savannah.
the environment and the behavior of the tiger + make photography very difficult.

Sure Stephen conclusion, in the end, is what you say: it was not bad. As I said in commenting on the photo dell'abbeverata, the moment you feel a frustration typical of the photographer who wants perfazione (proportional to its limits) and then incenerirebbe with his eyes, in the manner of Superman, any obstacle - twigs, grass, tree branches, arms and legs of others, jeep - that stand between the lens and the subject of much awaited desire ...:-D:-D curse, would fantasize about how the shot .. if it were not for that class if ... light, if you put the jeep ... so instead of what, if ... the tourists with their cell phone would take the lower arm, though .... that moved the following notable Indian with his ass to make room for my lens millemila millimeters, though ... And so on ....
Then you think back that each animal has its habitat, chand circumstances are those, which, however, has been my privilege to be able to go to see "visually" where the tiger lives, that in the end the days were bound to make masterpieces in the National Geographic, and you think everything you're satisfied , look at the picture and you love despite all its imperfections.
Obviously I described with a bit of irony circumstances, situations, moments not imaginary but lived: be understanding and, ultimately, a smile to my story ...:-P:-P

Dear Andrea, first of all I congratulate you for taking that perhaps not everyone caught in its exceptionality, such as exceptional was the fact that he was present at a hunting scene of the most beautiful predator on earth, not often even to photographers and video makers of emblazoned newspapers and networks to assist you!
When discussing your photo (few dare I say) has, however, learned something interesting: that first of all Rantambhore remains one of the most hard and difficult for the wildlife photographer and second that makes them true nature photographers putting them to the test to deal with situations not prepared, discounted and free from difficulty.
Have you pulled out of a difficult situation, which I also experienced that day and then after that, fortunately when the chaos was almost finished, a photo excellencelens from which it transpires that the exacerbation of clarity, the histogram to the left or right so that they lose that amount is too fotonaturalistica to today's date.
I conclude by thanking you and all the other participants that despite some difficulties due to the usual Indian bureaucracy were allowed to bring in the best way to end the trip.
Really good for the heart!

Beautiful, although raw and disturbing. I also have some doubts about the maf, but it definitely was a situation where maybe you just can not be very precise ...

Hello Blackhornet83: the scene is similar to many others that I had already observed in Africa ... Here hunting rather than see it clearly because we sensed was carried out in the tall grass and among the branches of the bushes. The fact remains that "observe" a day of hunting the tiger, as rightly said Bruno De Faveri, it is not just the common thing!
On maf: maybe it is not very accurate but if I told you that there were barriers between me and the tiger ...... It 'a miracle this partial result ...

What is truly amazing is that a photo of such a high natural value has received so few comments and I love it! I'm really baffled. For my part I do not envy you so much Andrea the photo but now that you've had the good fortune to live. Hello

Mario, thank you. Knowing you I know you think what you write .... I repeat, again, that today, ten days after returning from Ranthambore, the satisfaction and pleasure of the experience are amplified and perfected. But then, at least to me, it always happens like this: sedimentation emotion is the first step towards the development of memory with all that it implies contentment .....
On the comments and the rest is relatively important and regards social aspect Forum: Who has more associates received more awards (in general, for heaven's sake):-D:-D:-D

Little to say about shooting and on time: superb!
Delighted to see that the expectations and hopes are realized and implemented in a result so remarkable!
