Penso sia difficile, attraverso una fotografia, spiegare le emozioni che ho provato quando mi sono trovato alla base della parete di El Capitan, in Yosemite.. Mi sono tornate in mente tutti i libri letti, le immagini e i filmati visti, aventi come protagonista principale questo colossale monolite che mi sovrastava con i suoi mille metri di compattissimo granito... Questa foto l'ho scattata ai piedi dell'enorme prua che divide la faccia Sud-est dalla Sud-ovest e più che per la bella posizione della cordata impegnata nel settore del Salathe Wall mi ha impressionato l'enorme onda di granito che sembra volersi rovesciare sopra le loro teste!! #Mountains #Montagna #Alpinismo #BlackAndWhite #BiancoeNero
