, 1/100 f/8.0, ISO 100, hand held. Auschwitz, Poland.

Thanks for sharing Fabrizio, the place is "another dimension".
Flavio, as seen shot after I posted this, a little 'because it has already been proposed by others, a little' because it did not convince me right away. Then slowly I was able to get PP what I felt and I wanted to communicate.
The photo is taken from inside the field (30 meters behind me was the coach of the deported Hungarian).

Dear David, I will not dwell in the comments, and who has been there knows what it feels like.
Until next time, hello

A b / w that conveys the drama of the place.
Everything contributes to evoke those terrible days,
the darkness of the sky, the birds flying over the field blacks,
the pdr with those tracks in the foreground carrying
wagons loaded with deportees towards the end.
David Bravissimo! A greeting!

Excellent pdr and beautiful rendering of b / w so contrasting that, as has already been said, brings out the drama of the place ..
Congratulations ..

I know the place, I was there when I was 24 years old.
I will always remember the tracks but mostly I remember the silence and do not want to eat or drink that I brought back for two days.

I remember that, but also remember the past and want to forget.
Right, however, that everything stays intact there, just that any such photos andthat there is the living testimony forever.

HELLO and Merry Christmas.

Good evening, I agree with the comment Maxspin73. The angle of the shot. dramatic sky, the birds "free" contribute to the great success. Hello.

Each of us reacts to these places in their own way, personally I reacted as explained on my homepage (http://www.juzaphoto.com/topic2.php?l=it&t=652418).
Thank you Max for your personal thoughts.
Thanks to Franco and Mauro for sharing.

transmits with power and drama. I question the need to add another

from the standpoint of purely photographic, purely personal opinion of course, given that the photo is from the inside, I would have made sure that the building was still a little farther and mangari 'decentralized, symbolizing the little hope of escape

BN is perfect, very good

Your comments are always welcome! As you know, being part of a series, there is a greater distance from the photo of the car with the background of the input. Glad you liked the PP, because some areas were lightened (binary foreground) and other darkened (sky), a technique that until now I had not used.

you're right on that wagon I was totally focused on the wagon, perhaps because being positioned on the platform of exchange, do not drive directly to the entrance. also notable that as the whole series

hello and congratulations again

It 'sa journey that sooner or later I'll have to put in the yard. This picture conveys the drama of the place, thanks to the sky and to the PP. I see little sharpness on the main building, but maybe it's a desired effect during shooting or in post-production, in any case felt congratulations!
