Thank Louis which has revived this my "old" shot to the window of the Home Page.
About B & N, I tried it: accentuate contrast and graphic delicacy but you lose the pale brick that binds chromatically the turret to the branches and splits the subject; B & N decided the tip eye on the turret. And as you noticed the images with split subjects creates a subtle observer disorientation prolonging the vision etc. etc.
