A Focus Stack of 9 Images. Ophiocordyceps ditmarii is an entomopathogenic fungus which grows from the bodies of dead flies. It is the teleomorph stage of the fungus Hymenostilbe muscaria. The larger of these two examples was approximately 12mm in height.
