Thanks Silvio, in fact I "pulled" a little 'PP otherwise, having no particular point of interest,
would have been rather flat.

Very nice, especially the sky,
which, quite rightly, have given more prominence.
Congratulations, John!

very beautiful, belllissimo sky, congratulations for the other pictures I've seen in your galleries landscapes.
Uses a lot of the 18/105 ...., the same one that I use, but my skies are certainly not as beautiful as yours.
Maybe it's a matter of being in the downward place at the right time, knowing how to use its functions or multi-shot HDR, use a polarizing filter, working in PP?
It seems impossible for me to go that far. Again congratulations and greetings.

Mauro Thanks for your appreciation to my photos.
I have also seen your photos, especially the landscapes, and I must say that I find very beautiful.
As regards, next, the aspect of the light and the contrast ratio, well, that is a little 'everything you've written, putting strictly first being at the right place at the right time.
Then programs PP, HDR, etc.. have their role until they can recover what in the shot
there already but that the camera-monitor system, for its technological limitations, is unable to retrieve and display.
That comment on this photo, for example, was machined in PP, even with a HDR program (but is not
essential, only serves to speed). The result is certainly interesting, but I cansecure
that comes close to what they have just seen my eyes when, after the rain, the sun seeped through the clouds in a sky now clear, and the earth shone with great dynamics.
Dynamic rather than later, however, first-run movies, the monitor me back in a rather flat.
Then running in the lab (read PC) to develop the film (read RAW) to retrieve the HDR that was already in the shot. That is, ultimately, to reduce the considerable and beautiful dynamic to a value supported by the chain
Camera-Monitor (sic), that's all. ;-)
See you soon, Gianni
