Il problema, a mio modesto giudizio, sta nel taglio scelto. Tagliata diversamente probabilmente acquisterebbe qualcosa (pur con i limiti di uno scatto non riuscitissimo sul piano espressivo). In questi casi vedrei senz'altro un taglio decisamente più stretto in modo da enfatizzare i soggetti e gli sguardi divergenti. Non interessa a nessuno vedere le gambe intere della donna, la panchina, perfino un ciuffo d'erba in basso! Sul tema del taglio, ne approfitto per fare un discorso generale: qui vedo molti fotografi preoccuparsi di non tagliare piedi, gambe e quant'altro. Per i commentatori poi sembra che sia la prima cosa da rilevare. Non la penso così. Spesso il taglio di particolari che non sono indispensabili al racconto fa perdere loro ancora più importanza, con conseguenze positive per l'impianto espressivo. Tradotto in linguaggio fotografico significa: "ho tagliato le gambe o un braccio perché voglio far capire che non c'entrano nulla con quello che voglio trasmettere".
