, 1/6 f/4.0, ISO 6400, hand held.

Fotografare a mano libera dalla coperta di una barca a vela alla fonda era quasi impossibile (calcolando anche la cattiva resa della 1100D agli alti ISO); ma ho messo lo stesso questa foto in galleria perché è la mia prima in notturno!

Hello Francesca, the result is pretty good, considering the high ISO and shooting conditions.
A greeting. Sergio:-P

@ Donna: thank you again and again for your attention, I am very glad that this picture, despite the objective limits, you liked it. The night shots I like a lot, but I still have much to learn and experience :-| :-)
@ Elisewin: heartfelt thanks to you, dear Michael, for always encouraging me, though - you know it - the way is clear for the criticism, since your - on the rare occasions that I see you express them in this forum - are always very constructive.
@ Albieri Sergio: Sergio hello, thank you for the attention you have given to these my photos on Greece (not over, when I have time I'll add someone else!), With generous evaluations and comments are always useful.

Ah, well! My compliments to the result and hand ... Do you have a tripod instead of fingers? Or the stabilizer works wonders? :-D ;-)

Fulvio Hello, thank you for your nice comment. Appreciation especially welcome since I visited your galleries Notturno1 and Notturno2 and saw your skill. So take your approval as an encouragement to improve. Tonight I had the opportunity to wander around in your galleries (it's a very intense period of work) and I congratulate you on your very passion for poetry of visual language, which I enjoy with your beautiful shots. Beautiful Portfolio. Thanks again, Francesca

hello francesca
as already said 'by his friends think that despite the iso to "ball" the result is' more' than commendable.
(In miniature even better)
I do not know if you've tried to reduce digital noise in PP> perhaps something more 'could recover.
enjoy the rest of the evening

Hello Franco, I like a lot of the suggestions on the PP, which is a theme that I have learned throughout the thickness and importance only when I joined the forum. I'm progressing very slowly, and only yesterday I downloaded the trial version of Lightroom5 in view of a purchase (so far I have proceeded with the basic tools in iPhoto). Any suggestions would mean for me to put in front of the program and try to find something new and put it to the test. So thank you again for the very concrete indication :-)

with the canon certainly have received (free) diskette with the program DPP (Digital Photo Professional)
click on the photo and then left (tools)
then NR (noise reduction) with the cursor and moving it to the right to apply a reduction of grain (or digital noise, if you prefer)
hello and see you soon
