, 1/80 f/5.6, ISO 1600, tripod. Yosemite National Park, United States. Specie: Ursus arctos

Thank you very much nymphalidae.
I wish I could do a shot with more detail, but the noise was so given the shooting conditions and light, not to mention my PP embarrassing.
Thanks again

Too bad that with the 7d you could hardly do better. Beautiful scene that I hope to see next year in Canada ;-)

Thank you very much marcom.
It in fact I'm thinking of changing the camera body, a 6D, but I think I will miss quite a few factor x1.6. :-(

The encounter with the bear is certainly among the most exciting and I have a real fondness for this animal difficult to meet in optimal conditions. Congratulations for the good results you've got.

Thank you so much guys! But I am convinced that knowing how to use the best PP etc. would come out one step better, to be reviewed in the future! To think that I was in a small mound 5 feet above him, and it seems as if I were on board the river!

Interesting that this is your other picture, the little bear with, I think taken in the same place (Yosemite n.park). Interesting because I did not know that there was also the common brown bear ( Ursus arctos ) while I knew of the presence of both the Grizzly ( Ursus orribilis ) that the Baribal or American Black Bear ( ursus americanus ).
