con Canon EF 2.0x III, 1/500 f/9.0, ISO 800, hand held. Oasi dei Quadris, Italy. Specie: Geronticus eremita

www.lauromagrisphotonature.com -Priorità apertura, val.dev.esp. +0,333, focale 800mm . -2013 1 esemplare ucciso (Archimedes .. tra Padova e Vicenza) - 2014 Hella a Livorno - 2016 4 esemplari uccisi (Thor e Tara presso Grosseto, Kato presso Montecchio Precalcino -VI-, Enno in Val Camonica -BS-).

ElleEmme, I do not usually do not leave the "like" images that comment, but I was rather impressed by your caption that I find sweet / bitter and brings us back to responsibility from which we must abstain.
Again, thank you for your sensitivity and strength in an attempt to at least make the reader aware of your caption.
Congratulations and best regards, Dino

I thank the re-passage Dino Torri and welcome comment Eraldo Brunettin ;-). x Dino: The term sweet / bitter that you have used well underlines the precariousness of this species. Take for example the case of the Hermit Ibis in freedom: there are several hundred in Morocco (population north and south of Agadir), where, after a worrying decline that had brought them to perhaps no more than 200-250 are now projecting a total about twice as much.
These data oscillating create a certain kind of optimism alternated with periods negatives.
The projects, funding and volunteers are the 3 basic ingredients to the medium and / or long term realize their goals.
The good news in the short term will start a campaign against poaching, which will also invest Italy to raise awareness about these birds and those who illegally breaks down thethe strikes mistakenly given that in recent years there have been several leaks of subjects related to the Austrian project. The campaign will also see the collaboration of the Italian Federation of Hunting (FIDC) ;-).
Hello everyone and keep our fingers crossed laurel
