Coloured Earths sent on June 28, 2013 (12:11) by Paogar. 44 comments, 1737 views.

, 1/100 f/5.0, ISO 125, hand held. Seven Colored Earth of Chamarel, Mauritius.

The Earth sometimes gives us some amazing shows also, as in this case, from the point of view of color.
I know you do not love the PP, but if you accept a suggestion, here the "his death":-D would be a narrow cut that removes the entire top up to encompass only the bands of color in the shot of the ground.
Obviously, however, and regardless of my personal "vision", this picture I like it very much!
Congratulations Paul and Salutoni!

is only with the comparison that you can try to "grow" and to improve

I fully endorse! ;-)
As for the PP everyone uses it what you like: I am for a similar approach to yours, or I believe it a useful and, for me, quite beneficial to improve the yield of a shot. They are not for the distortions (although occasionally you indulge) but for the enhancement of "shooting native".
A salutone!

Hello!
Also I have in my galleries a picture like this. Surely the point of recovery is the same (the one from the restaurant!)
The lands of the seven colors are really beautiful. In this photo, I think, you could bring out a little 'colors (which are the highlight of the photo). I, for instance, I have a little saturated with the program I had on the PC. I did not know, and I do not know yet, use photoshop. Like you I took pictures with both the wide frame, which gives the sense of the greatness of the "petrified waves" that the waves themselves close together. When I went I was lucky because there was a thunderstorm and photos with the wet ground have also changed the colors.
Ah, I also would increase a little 'sharpness.

Hello Clara,
is the resume point is that of the restaurant!
I do not usually go to change the color saturation and / or sharpness of a photo in the first place because, coming from the "old" slides, are used to seeing the product already "finished" (with no possibility of intervention in retrospect) secondly because it snap in RAW but in jpeg (who tells me that he understands the "margins" of intervention in jpeg are quite small) and, last but not least, because in all honesty (well, until now .. . now participating and "displaying" your discussions'm just starting to understand something) I do not know where to put your hands on Photoshop or any other program ... photo editing! :-P
I realize that finding the time, I should at least learn Qualcoknows ... "Minimalist"! :-D
We'll see and in the meantime ... I thank you for advice! :-)

Hello Paul, I also do not know how to use photoshop, but I'm about to ... learn to use it. I'm doing, however, and qs photographer in raw summer. Except for three photos in RAW all those published in my galleries are in jpg, also similar to yours that I modified slightly by using a program already installed on my portatile.Qualcosa, even without raw and without photoshop, you can do the same.

Oh yes, I know that I have to learn something too! :-P
Not to make big "upheaval", which anyway I do not like to do, but to give un'aggiustatina, every so often, when you need it ... that is! :-)
