La popolazione sundanese, che vive nella regione occidentale dell'isola di Giava, porta avanti ancora oggi questo antico mestiere rurale tramandato di generazione in generazione da centinaia di anni. Ogni cestino è magistralmente realizzato a mano con meticolosa attenzione ai dettagli, e la grafica degli intrecci racconta la storia della cultura del tessitore.
