Qual è il senso di tutto ciò? Chi mi ha voluto portare qui e per quale motivo? Il tempo si è dilatato e un vento quasi esoterico sembra voler mescolare gli elementi. D'un tratto tutto è silenzio: quella piramide mi appare come la scala per il Paradiso e ne raggiungo la cima. Un balzo e mi ritrovo su quei batuffoli e poi ancora più in alto, risucchiato dalle tenebre in una regione dominata da una gravità tutta sua. Non ha senso tutto questo. Da quel luogo oscuro ritorno alla base scivolando fuori dalla cornice del mondo, rovinando poi su un pavimento altrettanto buio. Una linea dorata e sottile mi illude che possa esserci salvezza più avanti. Barcollo, la raggiungo, salgo le scale della piramide, balzo sui batuffoli e vengo risucchiato dalla tenebre. Poi un tonfo.
