Proprio nel mezzo della realizzazione di questo mio progetto, il 13 settembre 2022 la 22enne curda iraniana Mahsa Amini è stata arrestata dalla polizia morale di Teheran per aver indossato il velo in modo inappropriato. Pochi giorni dopo è morta, in circostanze sospette e non chiarite. Immediatamente in tutto l'Iran sono infuriate proteste.
