Sabato 3 febbraio ho voluto realizzare una ripresa della costellazione regina del periodo invernale con la mia reflex, una stagionata Canon 6D con filtro Baader. Grazie ad un processing piuttosto spinto, ho ottenuto l'immagine che vi propongo. Detto questo, posso proporvi questa mia versione ottenuta dai monti Sibillini, nelle Marche, a circa 1500 metri di quota, sommando con DSS ed elaborando con Photoshop 60 scatti da 2 minuti di esposizione ripresi ad 800 iso, 85mm chiuso a F/2,2. Inseguimento con Vixen GP. Classica la cosmetica dello scatto, con Dark, Flat e Bias, nessun filtro LPS utilizzato in fase di ripresa. L'immagine ritrae la famosa parte centrale del grande cacciatore del cielo invernale, Orione, avvolta da intricate nebulosità di gas ionizzati alternate a nubi di polveri che ne oscurano in alcune zone la visibilità.
