Foto del 1980, la mia prima volta in Peru` con Pentax MX e 35 mm f 2.8, pellicola e in bianco e nero (Ilford FP4). La chiesa di San Francesco e` inserita nel convento omonimo ed e` probabilmente la piu` bella di Lima; un bell'esempio di Barocco "limeno". L'attuale struttura risale al 1672, dopo che nel 1655 un terremoto aveva distrutto la chiesa e pesantemente danneggiate le strutture del convento. I lavori di riparazione e restauro sono comunque proseguiti fino al 1729. All'interno del complesso si possono ammirare la sacrestia, il coro, il museo, la biblioteca, il chiostro... Un luogo da non perdere.
