Saksun è un piccolo villaggio di pescatori, con poche decine di abitanti, che ha una magia tutta sua, un posto dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato e dove l'erba, di un verde smeraldo, ricopre i tetti delle abitazioni amalgamandole perfettamente con i paesaggi circostanti. La sua particolarità sta anche nel fatto che si trova sul fondo di quella che una volta era una baia circondata da alte montagne.
