@marygrace: with 85mm they probably took the great Orion Nebula and the other "details" of the image you see, to frame an entire constellation I think 85mm are actually too many, in fact it also mentions a 28 and a 50mm.
With a telescope (ie from about 300mm upwards) you shoot much much smaller areas, this allows you to have more fine detail.
