Nice set portrait of this little animal! I'm a bit puzzled about the aperture: f/8 seems to me a middle ground that makes the background blurred in half... At that point I would have tried to f/4 to have a softer background and to f/16 to have more pcd and then choose between the two extremes... Hello, Alberto.

Hello Alberto, thanks for your comment. In truth it is a vertical overview of 3 images because with the 24 I was a bit tight and I tried to do a focus stacking between the 3 images. Maybe I should have closed more to have everything in focus but my fear at that moment was that the salamander would run away and so I shortened the time a bit and opened the diaphragm. Maybe I was a bit hasty. Thank you for the advice. Emiddio " Bel ritratto ambientato di questo animaletto! Ciao, Alberto."
