La casetta delle luci! ? Sembra che quest'anno l'attività solare sia intensa e questo porta al manifestarsi di aurore frequenti e spettacolari! Quindi, per chi volesse assistere a questa meraviglia, è l'anno buono per organizzare un viaggio nelle terre del nord ? Per quanto riguarda l'immagine, come sempre cerco di inserire qualche elemento nell'inquadratura per generare una composizione carina ed evitare di riprendere l'aurora fine a sé stessa, in questo caso una casetta solitaria. Si nota bene in questa foto come i fasci di particelle che generano l'aurora comportino l'emissione di colori differenti alle diverse quote, in particolare il viola in alto e il verde più in basso. Questo si spiega con l'interazione con le diverse specie gassose, in particolare il verde è generato dall'eccitazione dell'ossigeno atomico, mentre il viola potrebbe essere generato dall'eccitazione dell'elio a quote più alte, dove in effetti è la specie prevalente
