La passione per le riprese astronomiche risale a parecchi decenni fa, ma soprattutto un grande "amore" per il cielo stellato e le sue meraviglie, ho avuto la fortuna di poter riprendere per diversi anni da uno dei cieli più bui del pianeta, il deserto del Kalahari in Namibia, dove il buio è rimasto intatto e la notte si accende di luci , di suoni ,unici!! Sotto quel cielo lo splendore della Via Lattea è pazzesco, meraviglioso!!E' così luminosa che quando è allo zenith illumina il sentiero, non per altro per gli antichi abitanti locali era soprannominata la "spina dorsale della notte"....
Rispondo ad alcuni quesiti... questa è una ripresa composta da 24 immagini di circa 240 secondi a 1600 iso con una canon 6D modificata per uso astronomico, con un obbiettivo Askar da 200mm di focale a F4, ( lente uscita da poco con caratteristiche dedicate alla ripresa astronomica) il tutto su una montatura equatoriale motorizzata . Le immagine sono poi state calibrate e integrate con un sw specifico per uso astronomico, PixInsight, la parte finale di elaborazione con Photoshop......La zona ripresa è una delle più "colorate" del cielo con nebulose a riflessione e ad emissione, dal Kalahari nei mesi invernali ( estivi per noi) lo Scorpione con queste meravigliose nebulose, risplende allo Zenith per cui risulta abbastanza semplice riprenderle.
