Si, credo che la tua analisi sia corretta e che sicuramente un paesaggio al chiaro di luna debba essere molto “pulito” e con pochi elementi per funzionare.
A parte la splendida luna e il suo forte riflesso sull'acqua (quella che è rimasta ) mi interessava conservare l'atmosfera quasi notturna della scena (era tardo crepuscolo) temendo le ombre al limite della leggibilità.
