A tre anni dall'incendio che l'ha parzialmente devastata, la cattedrale di Notre-Dame-de-Paris ritrova progressivamente la sua bellezza originaria, grazie al lavoro quotidiano di un esercito di artigiani al lavoro per ricostruirla, ripulirla e bonificarla dalle polveri di piombo sprigionatesi dal rogo. "La pulizia interna delle volte, delle mura e del pavimento", che dovrebbe terminare tra poco, come anche la preparazione delle volte in vista della loro completa ricostruzione, "hanno restituito alla cattedrale il suo candore originale", affermano i responsabili del vasto cantiere alla vigilia dal terzo anniversario della catastrofe, venerdi' 15 aprile. Prima dell'incendio che scosse la Francia e l'Europa, la cattedrale simbolo di Parigi accoglieva ogni anno 12 milioni di visitatori, 2.400 funzioni religiose e 150 concerti. L'obiettivo e' riaprire la cattedrale al pubblico nel 2024, anno dei Giochi Olimpici di Parigi. (da LA STAMPA del 14/04/2022).
