Questa foto è stata fatta a fine aprile, quando il Po mi sembrava già terribilmente basso; poi qualche pioggia ne ha innalzato di poco il livello, ma ora, a fine giugno è ancora più basso di quanto rappresentato in questa fotografia, molto più basso! E' uno spettacolo triste e affascinante insieme, perchè se da una parte sono chiare le conseguenze di questa siccità, dall'altra si riesce letteralmente ad entrare nell'alveo del fiume, toccare sabbie mai viste ed entrare in profondo contatto con la sua agonia.
