Sono rientrato da circa una settimana, da un viaggio in uno dei miei luoghi preferiti: lo Yellowstone National Park. Oramai sono alla quindicesima (o più, ho perso il conto) spedizione nel parco. Questa era la terza volta di fila fatta in inverno. Abbiamo trovato condizioni davvero difficili. Molto freddo (-32), per fortuna senza particolare vento. A parte quella mattina...ha iniziato a nevicare copiosamente, con raffiche di vento che sferzavano la faccia rendendo difficile anche scattare. Avevamo individuato questo esemplare che aveva appena pescato una grossa trota. Ci siamo avvicinati per fotografarlo quando è arrivata un'altra aquila a scacciarlo. Hanno lottato in volo ed il nostro soggetto ha perso la preda. Non si è dato per vinto e si è lanciato nel fiume a prenderne un'altra. La luce era spettacolare. Neve, vento e luce soffusa...le aquile ci han fatto divertire per un bel po' con le loro schermaglie ed i loro voli. Un saluto a tutti, Ale
