La Lancia Astura fu costruita in differenti versioni ed allestimenti in quattro serie dal 1931 al 1939 per un totale di circa 2900 esemplari. Alcune vetture vennero modificate per essere utilizzate nelle competizioni... come questa della fotografia che fu allestita dalla Carrozzeria Colli di Colli Giuseppe e Figli con sede in Milano per conto della Scuderia Ambrosiana pure lei sita in Milano. Derivata da un esemplare della 4° serie questa Astura, trasformata in barchetta, fu equipaggiata con il motore V8 di 2972 cm3 di serie dove però, tramite elaborazione, la potenza era stata elevata dagli 82 cavalli originali a oltre 100. Attualmente questo unico esemplare è conservato a Villafranca di Verona all'interno del Museo Luciano Nicolis.
