Il 13 dicembre 2016 a Nova Gorica un giovanissimo Darko Jorgic contribuiva in modo decisivo a far trionfare la Slovenia sulla Polonia (ma ovviamente con l'apporto del mitico Bojan Tokic). Sembrava un'impresa epica... e invece ieri lo stesso Darko Jorgic ha battuto 4:3 l'idolo di casa, il fortissimo giapponese Tomokazu Harimoto (attualmente quarto nel ranking mondiale!), agli ottavi dei giochi olimpici. Oggi purtroppo ha dovuto arrendersi al Taiwanese Yun Ju Lin (sesto nel ranking mondiale), ma comunque... quanta strada ha fatto Darko da quel 13 dicembre 2016!
