Jacques Joseph Charles Villeneuve (classe 1971) gareggiò nel Campionato Italiano di Formula 3 nel triennio 1989-1991 senza raggiungere risultati di rilievo. Nell'ultimo anno… il 1991… pilotò una Ralt RT 35 motorizzata Alfa Romeo del Team Camel Pre.ma Racing utilizzando il numero di gara 14 (quella visibile in questa fotografia). In seguito gareggiò poi in diversi altri Campionati e nel 1995 vinse la prestigiosa 500 Miglia di Indianapolis a cui aggiunse altri 3 primi posti aggiudicandosi così il Campionato di Formula Cart (Championship Auto Racing Teams) 1995. La vettura utilizzata era una Reynard motorizzata Cosworth-Ford su cui spiccava il n. 27… lo stesso che suo padre Gilles aveva utilizzato sulla Ferrari 126 14 anni prima. Nel 1997… alla guida di una Williams FW19 motorizzata Renault… vinse il Campionato del Mondo di Formula 1 conquistando 7 Gran Premi sui 17 previsti nella stagione. A oggi è l'unico pilota canadese ad avere vinto il Titolo Mondiale in questa categoria. Ha partecipato pure a 2 edizioni della 24 Ore di Le Mans ottenendo un 2° posto nel 2008 a bordo di una Peugeot 908 condotta insieme a Nicolas Minossian e Marc Gené… vettura con cui nello stesso anno si aggiudicarono pure la 1000 Km. di Spa-Francorchamps in Belgio. Dal 2006 ha iniziato ad incidere brani come cantautore mentre dal 2013 è diventato anche commentatore televisivo per il Campionato Mondiale di Formula 1 per alcune prestigiose emittenti. Nel 2015 partecipa ad alcune gare del Campionato di Formula E alla guida di una vettura Spark-Venturi. Jacques Villeneuve è il figlio primogenito dell'indimenticato Gilles Joseph Henri Villeneuve (1950-1982) e nipote di un'altro pilota… fratello del padre… di cui porta il nome: Jacques Joseph Villeneuve Senior. L'immagine qui visibile fu scattata con una fotocamera Canon F 1 New dotata di un'ottica Canon FD 500 f 4,5 L utilizzando pellicola Kodacolor a 100 ASA.
