Very interesting close-up, the sharpness and richness of details is really remarkable, the veins and imperfections of the old wood appear as in relief, the nails, the screws and all the hardware present in short :-D it looks like they're planted right on the screen! Textbook viraggio.
Oly work Francesco, congratulations.
A curiosity, as I have already written I am ignorant in the field of film and its conversion to digital, but to have such a result I imagine you have a professional equipment, and once you generate the fai file of pp?
I apologize for the banality of the questions but as I always say I am here to learn and I fail to do it on purpose you are a former teacher ;-)

Hello Riccardo, first of all thank you for the visit and the interest in my work....... as far as digital conversion is concerned I use a somewhat long process, as mentioned first development and mold on my own I am equipped with darkroom with professional equipment (before entering the school I was going to open a photo studio which is why I find such equipment dates back more than 40 years , old story) so I develop the camera roll I do the 20x30 cm print the size of my HP scanner, once the ironing is dry and I do the scan to generate the file then in PP I make some adjustments with sharpness and contrast and the result is this, as a program I use Corel Draw a graphics program and Captur

Congratulations on your perseverance and patience, as well as on the excellent results of course.
Without a doubt not having to go through the printing process would make your life a lot easier............. never like digital but :-D
I'm kidding, I understand that only a great passion can make you embark on such a path and persevere despite the temptations to abandon it can be many.

Riccardo thank you for reading my answer, maybe I was a little boring in the description .....however digital I practice it the same but it does not give me the same satisfactions that the film gives me.... I do the exhibitions only with film prints, I tried with prints from files made by a professional laboratory always in b/n but they are not the same thing as film prints, they are two different processes with aesthetic results opposite completions ...... different materials that make a difference.
A greeting Francis
