NO CROP - Val Varaita. I Tricotteri per proteggersi dai piccoli pesci o gamberetti dei torrenti alpini si avvolgono in una specie di tubicino composto da granellini di sabbia del torrente, incollati con una colla che loro producono. Ovviamente una protezione insufficente per difendersi dal merlo acquaiolo che scrollando sull' acqua o sulle rocce il Tricottero, riesce facilmente a pulirlo dalla sabbi prima di ingoiarlo.
