Ricordo di un'emozione. Sulla strada di ritorno dopo un bel giro in moto dalle parti di Bellagio. Una giornata assolata, la luce non mi piaceva e non riuscivo a visualizzare nient'altro che foto banali. Tant'è che la fidata fotocamera è sempre rimasta nella borsa (mi capita se non ho una commissione e posso permettermi di fotografare solo per diletto). Alla fine della giornata però, su quella strada che costeggia la sponda ovest del lago di Lecco, ad un certo momento il cielo si è acceso di una luce meravigliosa, e gli ultimi raggi di sole illuminavano di rosso la cima della Grigna. Volgendo lo sguardo verso il basso, l'acqua del lago, fino a poco prima di continuo increspata da onde innaturali e scie di barche in una domenica di agosto, era diventata liscia come olio e rifletteva quella luce magica e mutevole. Avanzavo lentamente con la mia moto per godere con gli occhi di quello spettacolo. Volevo fermarmi ma la strada stretta e insidiosa non mi permmetteva di parcheggiare. La fotocamera era lì nella borsa, la strada ormai deserta, nemmeno più un rumore. Il sole stava rapidamente scomparendo dietro le montagne e la tentazione di fermarmi era forte. Così finalmente ho deciso di accostare, e in contromano, a cavalcioni della mia Africa Twin ho scattato una raffica di foto ruotando per quel che potevo su me stesso. Ho poi selezionato e assemblato 5 scatti per comporre questa foto panoramica. Unica foto di una lunga giornata.
