The Tower and the Stars sent on August 17, 2020 (9:55) by Edoardo Vaccaro. 6 comments, 293 views.

, 15 sec f/2.8, ISO 100, tripod. Pisa, Italy.

Nice picture, congratulations! In fact 15 sec should be enough to not see the crawl, which is very noticeable in the stars of greater magnitude. I hazard two hypotheses: it could be a move due to the mechanism of closing or microvibrations of the machine body at the beginning of the shot in case you have not used the remote or delayed shot. Anyway, beautiful picture, hello.

Hello Luca, thank you for the ride.
The shot was remote. The easel I have is very light, but enough to support body and goal.
The strange thing is that with the same frame the direction of the trail is consistent between successive shots both as direction and intensity. In addition to this I tried to make other compositions as well and the effect is similar.
I hope to have time in the next few days to try to make similar shots. I'll try to reduce the exposure time to see if they're actually already on the limit.

It doesn't sound like astronomy to me.

Hello Winter, I was undecided between landscape with human elements and astrophotography. Before inserting it I checked the other publications in this gallery and I have seen similar ones.
In what section would you publish it?

Landscape with human element.
It's pretty trivial as an astrofography experiment there's not a real subject like the Milky Way or a nebula can be.
Doing normal star background stacking doesn't do much good.

I moved the photo into landscape with urban element.
I stacking still I imagine helps to contain the noise. It is clear that with light pollution in the city many stars are covered.
