I Karo sono una delle etnie più piccole dell' Omo river, non ho dati precisi ma saranno forse un migliaio e poco più ma sono estremanente interessanti sia perle usanze che per il body painting estremamente elaborato. Dalla prima volta che sono stato nel villaggio di Kolcho nel 2000, i cambiamenti sono stati drammatici... Era una bellissimo villaggio, in una posizione spettacolare sulla riva dell' Omo river, popolato ed estremante animato poi, a causa della siccità e forse sopratutto del crollo della strada che portava a nord nella terra dei Mursi, si è progressivamente svuotato e da un po' di anni ci sono una gruppo di persone in attesa dell' arrivo dei turisti.......
