Baita Segantini, uno dei posti iconici delle nostre Dolomiti. C'è anche una bellissima storia sul suo fondatore, Alfredo Paluselli, una storia quasi romantica.. Egli fu un viaggiatore che parlava quattro lingue, un alpinista, un artista, un promotore turistico e un uomo intelligente dotato di creatività vulcanica. Il suo capolavoro, riconosciuto in tutto il mondo come una delle immagini più iconiche della montagna, rimane la splendida Baita Segantini. Sorge nei pressi di Passo Rolle, a 2200mt. In quel suo personale castello di legno, egli scelse di vivere in solitudine per 35 anni, a colloquio con le aquile e con le forze della natura, scrivendo, disegnando e a suo modo comunicando, senza alcuna imposizione. Anche la cronaca del Giro d'Italia 2019, durante la salita al Passo Rolle, non ha potuto non ricordare il solitario alpinista custode del Cimon della Pala.
