"LIVIGNO 2011". CANON 1000, 18-55 IS @ 32 f/4.5 1/128 sec + POL. CIRC.

But I would have focused on the flowers and deepened the landscape, blurred flowers so I really do not like, and the landscape is not 'the most

Thanks for the ride!
I'm surprised, I thought I would have recommended to focus on both. Interesting creative alternative, however, I had not pernsato, I'll keep this for next time.

Personally I find the idea of ??putting the flowers in the foreground is good, actually create the three-dimensional picture, however, are in focus otherwise (as in the case) are more a nuisance. Second suggestion I can give is to try to shoot from a location that excludes the cable car or the house under construction. Finally, try to shoot at a different time, perhaps at sunset playing with hot lights reflected from the mountains.

This is a picture I remember (I do not mean in a negative sense souvenir photos have their own importance and their meaning).
Of course the strisciatina of flowers stuck there in the foreground gives it a more "cartolinesco" and forced. As they are placed, then, are not the best: focus or out of focus very little change ...
I think it would have been more sincere and without fresh flowers, despite the ugliness that would appear in the foreground.
hello!

Small technical curiosity: someone can explain the softness of clouds and mountains to the right, to the center?

Again thanks for the tips!
I was aware that the photo had improved but I still decided to get involved postandola, in the hope of obtaining some useful advice, and I was not disappointed.
I think the implicit teaching that I will draw is that, despite the attendance of the forum and reading various texts more or less 'sacred', to improve you will need to make many, many shots. ;-)

I personally like ... frankly I felt a very closed aperture to get the focus on the flowers and background more "cutting edge .."

hello, congratulations for the shot though, knowing very well Livigno and having seen all year I took the photo on the bottom when the lake was not in a phase shading, so you would have increased even more the beauty of the shot, although as I have already said is very nice even so.
Hello, Laura :-)

Beautiful landscape. To the flowers of choice and always a bit 'difficult. In such a case I would say that I focused both or I would have removed them entirely.

Hello Mauro, thank you so much for your visit and for the encouragement.
I'm surprised this photo levies happened yet, it will be the first landscape that I tried to do ... not the gate for consistency but if I could I would do it again completely different. ;-)
