Up there, where time never arrived ... sent on January 22, 2013 (12:55) by Fulvio Gioria. 59 comments, 4702 views.

, 1/10 f/3.5, ISO 800, hand held.

I know it does not make sense, but I'll try anyway: the lady will not live mica in the province of Frosinone, right?
wow!

Sorry ... I had the feeling (it was really hard right) that he had seen the person and place (many years ago) ...
:)

What a beautiful granny. Today we are all caught up by technology, time runs fast between one thing and another, and we have forgotten that simplicity never betrays, especially the feelings.
As Elena says, this deeply touched my soul ............ and you shake the thought that this granny steps day after day always alone, with no one to talk to.
Given that I am in the province of Salerno and thus far, I make a plea to those who are close Sesia Valley to visit her, going to shake the cobwebs of time as Fulvio wrote. And who knows how many beautiful life stories you will hear.
This is the strength of a photo!

Mikess all said and hugged him to thank him for the beautiful holy words which he spent on this picture and for the incredible character ... a soul that every week I'm going to find, hoping to give her a breath of hope! Mikess Thank you very much! :-D:-P ;-)

Supenda photo and caption. I want to think that this "granny" is happy to live without all that for us is essential, along with sincere friends, the dog, the cat and chickens. The simplicity of this poverty is full of lessons. This stops the clock and sobering.

Eraldo.

The photo is touching as the story ...
and suggests that at times the normal surrounding us is superfluous too much ...
For a child who was in some house in the country, and remember what it meant to a home, this little old lady certainly will shake many memories ...

But Fulvio, who are you going to give her hope, that he or she gives you ..?

Pierangelo, Zanini, Michele! I embrace you! Thank you for these your comments. Zanini you're right ... indirectly it is she who gives vitality to others that they visit! You could write a tome on the entire life of this family (even though I've already partially done!:-D), by his words and by his hands you can only learn and nothing else!
Thank you all! For with the heart! :-P ;-)

Tender, reminiscent of the stove of my grandmother and my grandmother.
Thank you :-)

Thank you very much for your visit to this, Maurizio! The stove in the photo was installed in 1950 and was carried on the shoulders for at least three kilometers uphill, but I do not know how many people are served. But this granny's dad then offered lunch to the "mules" who did this miracle of transport! Maybe just decided to change it, but only with a new one, because it claims that the stoves second hand does not work well! Wow wow! If it gives me so much, will change when the next 150 years! :-D:-D:-D Fantastic world! Thanks again Maurizio! :-P ;-)

Despite your words very loud and disturbing, the photo gives me hope and serenity. The old but very valuable "stove" (I come from is called so .....) that is at the heart of this small cottage and 'manipulated with the hands and sleek look despite 95 years .... The few things he possesses the old are all you need, we are the slaves of a thousand things, we are the ones really just ......
I forgot, congratulations for the beautiful picture :-)

It 'hard to accept the end. It 'something that man has always tried to exorcise unnecessarily. This shot is particularly poignant because this woman will bring with it a whole world beyond her. At the next stop will be up to us.
