Come già scritto su altre mie foto che riguardano questo tema, Venezia e i veneziani convivono da secoli quasi in simbiosi con l'acqua alta. E' un fenomeno che non preclude la “normale” vita della città. Purtroppo negli ultimi anni, soprattutto in quest'ultimo, la situazione è notevolmente peggiorata svelando l'estrema vulnerabilità di questa bellissima città. Speriamo che il sole che si vede in questa foto sia di buon auspicio per la risoluzione di questo enorme problema che Venezia, purtroppo, non è più in grado sopportare.

Quando ho visto il cuoco che passava ho fotografato quasi d'istinto cercando una composizione che potesse essere valida. L'altezza dell'acqua era quasi sul bordo degli stivali e la mia preoccupazione era quella di non fare movimenti troppo veloci ... ora non ho più di questi problemi... mi sono comperato, come tantissimi veneziani, dei stivali alti che arrivano fino alla coscia
