I really like this picture! Beautiful in its drama, but also the implementation and full of really well kept and emerging issues. Conversion to B & W is great and fits perfectly with the prospective aspect of the photo. The black of the plant weighs considerably perception but also has a nice vanishing point toward the white background perfectly blurred.
The resume point I also like a lot, not symmetrical if you will, but all the lines of flight are visible and just make it really well as a forecast.
The rest is done by the composition, and the content that I think do not need more comments ...
Wonderful achievement for me compliments! :-)
Yours sincerely

Three-dimensionality, composition, detail, point shooting and cultured atmosphere to the top! I would try to darken only the clump of trees in the background. Did you just used the d-lighting soft?

Thanks to James Lauro and appreciation for the valuable aimed at this picture! Sorry Lauro but only now I saw your posting this! I used (in addition to PS for the base), a program for the Tonemapping, and I must say that you are right in the background too light. But I also have to admit that after a year of Juza many more would do the PP is not so ... and this is one of those. At least I would try to do a little bit better, given your constant attention and millions of tips that I have come to appreciate after twelve months long apprenticeship! Wow wow! :-D:-D ;-)

hello Fulvio.
I'll tell you, I envy you a lot because you managed to take this beautiful picture.
I have also visited these places but have never been able to bring home a picture.
As soon as you cross the threshold I would hide my eyes and I have a big lump in my throat.
I do not know, aiming for the goal of these crosses seem to me to be disrespectful to the boys buried beneath.
Perhaps, one day, with a little more courage ....

On the eve of the 70th anniversary of the landing in Normadia applaud this shot that combines technical perfection (composition, b / w, light all at the top) a strong emotional component. Compliments.
