Ecco la mia assistente Olga impegnata nell'accurata pulizia di questo storico zoom: l'ultima lente era opacizzata da qualcosa di sconosciuto che sembrava finissima condensa biancastra... e di certo non erano funghi. Fortunatamente il nocciolo ottico era smontabile dal retro: composto da tre stadi avvitati tra loro con una colla alla Kriptonite, presentava due semplici doppietti di lenti non collate alle estremità. Aprirlo è stata un'impresa: dopo un'attacco chimico preventivo a base di acetone puro e cotton fioc per ammorbidire il micidiale composto frenafiletti, sono riuscito a svitare le parti applicando una discreta forza con due robuste pinze da idraulica. Per fortuna i vecchi obiettivi sono robusti e nulla si è danneggiato. Pulita ogni lente con benzina avio e rimesso a posto il tutto, l'obiettivo è tornato all'antico splendore.
