Yes John, I replaced the D7100. The D7500 is significantly superior throughout

a super detailed close-up and compliments to the beautiful whites returned, the only misgiving i have is on the compo, really unusual and unbalanced. In particular the image is too narrow below , the tail is really very much to the limit and this makes a little lose breath to the whole image ;-)

Very nice with good pdr and great detail, nice also the background. For the color of the lower parts, unlike Strawberry, the woodpecker reminded me of it more white, but I think the plumage varies from individual to individual....congratulations

Thank you all in the meantime. Thanks to Lorenzo for the constructive comment. Unfortunately the composition was already wrong at the start (in the shooting phase) because the female landed fast and flew away very quickly because she was scared of the male. He only gave me this shot unfortunately and ended up on the right of the frame. Look at the original file... in fact, as you suggested, it would have been better to leave more space around.
For Marco Cirillo: hello Marco, I don't know what to tell you about the plumage... looking also at other photos of the same subject, the white parts are rather dark.... good evening to all :-)
