As you can see I'm not an expert on long exogrooms, focus staking, etc. So comments and advice are welcome

If I can say my own the detail that you notice on the first floor is then lost in the rest of the frame where you appreciate perhaps even some deterioration probably related to a reduction in excess noise... I think.
Obviously these are considerations related to the exclusive pleasure of having a healthy comparison :)
Greetings,

From a compositional point of view, it's good.
Less good is the technique. As I said I'm not good with focus stacking (I think it's one of the "misses" of this shot) and then not having slab filters does not help I think

Ok.
I don't know how you shot, with that focus and how you melted the exhibits, but what I see is a close-up ok, a background in my opinion out of focus and the trees to dx moved but not enough that can really make the feeling of the wind.
Maybe it took a third exposure with shorter time to stop the fronds of the trees but the melting further complicated if you wanted to keep the clouds moving.
For the stack focus here there were no great difficulties to fuse the two exposures, it was done manually in the middle of the lake about.
On the composition personally I would have avoided interrupting the line of the lake shore to dx, it would have taken you better to the castle, but I do not know what was to dx maybe it was impossible without introducing various ailments.

Thank you Simone!
single exposure with screw nd1000 filter.
for the dx part, you're right, I could have included the beach of bowls :-/

Single exposure with filter nd1000 to
Sorry Sampe but then what does the focus stack have to do with?
To have more depth of field with a single exposure then you had to close the diaphragm more and use, at least the hyperfocal . ;-)

it's just about saying that it's one of the things I can't do :-D :-D
I'm going to propose the same composition with some precautions... as soon as I have time :-(
Thank you meanwhile ;-)

Composition, colors and PDR perfect, spot on. Fascinating photo. It is blurry in the background, perhaps moved, but in this case it is part of its charm.

as Commissioner says here the use of hyperfocal is missing :-(
I'm a bit "behind" with the technique, lately I shoot very few landscapes and a lot of my children :-P :-P
